Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the Classic Accessories personal watercraft or jet ski cover. This is gonna be a universal fit cover for your jet skis of up to 140 inches long. It's currently off season for the jet skis and you might do what we're doing right now. We have them on a trailer, in the parking lot waiting for when it gets warmer. You need to make sure that it's protected while it's out here.

So having a weather resistant cover like this is very helpful. You help protect that fiberglass from the sun damage. Previously, there was a tarp covering both of the jet skis and this is definitely an upgrade to that. This is made of a tough and durable Stellex polyester material. This also has a fabric coating on it to help resist dirt and stains.

This material helps resist UV damage. When you compare it to the traditional tarpaulin material, you can see how the sun has already affected that material. And then you have this durable polyester which not only stays up longer underneath the sun, but also protects the boat longer. So while that material helps resist water, shrinkage, and mildew, you still have to let it dry out. I recommend just laying it out in the sun, waiting it down, and then after a couple hours of that you can go ahead and pack it up and go.

Let's take a look at how quick and easy it is to put this cover on. Your Classic Accessories cover will arrive in a box and inside that box is that bag. Once you take this bag out, don't expect to try to fit it back into the box because it was a really tight fit. The bag is secured to the cover, which is really nice because I tend to lose these. The first thing you're gonna wanna do is you're going to find the front, and you will see a bright and visible marker that says front.

Unlike those custom fit covers where you have to start with the handlebars and then you can do the rest, this one's a lot more forgetting. It is a pretty windy day, so slightly more challenging, but still very easy. I tossed the cover onto the jet ski. So now we're going to wrap this around the front. There we go. And then work our way towards the back. Notice how we have the Classic Accessories logo towards the front, and let's just get this over most of our hull. Notice the contours of the cover getting you a lot more coverage on that hull. And then you also get three sets of trailering straps. So front, middle, back. So run this underneath the hull of your watercraft, and then tighten that down. Make sure to wrap up any excess strap. Continue to make your adjustments around your personal watercraft. Like here, for example, in the back we have this reinforced panel and flap. So you have a harder material inside the cloth and this covers your little air openings. This helps the wind go through, and that way you can have a more secure fit around your jet ski, and it's not filling up with wind. Towards the valve or the front, you do have two side panels. Now this is ideal if your watercraft maybe has the gas accessible here. In the case of our jet ski, the gas is up top so it's not as accessible. So just something for specific watercraft. Now whenever you trailer those around make sure to follow the guidelines, as well as making sure everything's tightened down, double check your straps around your boat as well, and make sure you're properly hooked up. But this is gonna be a great way to add some extra security as well as to protect both your custom fit cover and your jet ski whenever you wanna go on adventure. To stuff it back into the bag, I try to get it a little organized and I just fold it and roll it up. So this will help out, but once we get to the bag we can treat it like a stuff sack. So just push everything into that bag. There's a cinch strap at the end, so you just need to get it all stuffed in there. Kind of like packing up a sleeping bag. So get those straps in there, get all that material in there. Let's cinch this tight, and now we can store it wherever it needs to go. Some personal thoughts on this cover is that it is an affordable and universal fit cover as long as your boats are not longer than 140 inches, then this is going to fit for you. Definitely an upgrade compared to tarp that's hard to strap down and a little sketchy. This is gonna provide that custom fit without being that custom fit price point. This only matters when it comes to the length of the watercraft, and as long as it fits within that, it should fit for you.
